It is for legal reasons that we have restricted publication of the tree branches to a single one at this time. As mentioned in the forum section of our website, legally, for those born after 1910, unless by consent, very little more than their names is allowed to be published. We were hoping for a discussion on the subject but none developed. In order to facilitate expeditious publication of all the branches, we are asking each one of you to send us via email an authorization for us to reveal dates of birth and when appropriate, dates of marriage. The email should also contain a statement that you have taken the same authorizing responsibility covering the rest of the branch members who are alive.
The main importance of the publication of the tree branches lies in the possibility it will offer for you to fill gaps, like family members we may have not included, and correct mistakes like name spellings or wrong attributions.
For your return email, please choose one of the following:
a) You have my consent for including dates of birth and, when appropriate, wedding dates in my family branch and I take full authorizing responsibility covering the rest of my branch members.
OR
b) I do not want to have any dates included in the publication of my
family branch.
